For this clinic, we request that each player have the correct equipment to best benefit from the instruction given.

All players

Uniforms / baseball clothing is not required for this course.

A t-shirt and shorts are perfect for each session. As it will be a little cooler than summer, I’d also encourage a flexible “pull over” top that will keep you warm without restricting your movement.

Pitching

Cleats

If you’re going to be a successful pitcher, you need to wear cleats.

<aside> 👟 Flat shoes are not designed for baseball. Cleats provide a superior grip, and players will struggle to repeat the mechanics taught in this clinic without them.

Theraband

We would also recommend you get yourself a resistance band.

This is the one most players use:

Jaeger Sports J-Bands – Resistance Band Adult

Catching

Protective equipment

Catchers need a bit more than good cleats.

For many of you, you’ve probably only ever worn the SCBA gear and you’re welcome to do so again during this clinic.

If you are interested in purchasing your own equipment (and don’t know where to start), speak to one of our coaches.
