Start of season:

Hold a current Blue Card or have applied for one
Receive your EO folder for the season, this comes to every game with you. You can choose to take this home with you or store it at the fields in the uniform shed in the box labeled ‘Junior EO Folders’
Receive your ‘free volunteer hat’ from our uniform coordinator
Introduce yourself to your team's coach, assistant coach, players, parents, umpires and scorers

Heja:

Get yourself set up as admin by the previous admin for your team
Clean out at the beginning of each season by deleting old players and parents
Getting all new players and parents set up
Show new parents how to use Heja and let them know to RSVP by Friday the day before games
Setting up game day roster for the season
Adding any events into the schedule
Adding player shirt numbers
Assigning coaches, assistant coaches and scorers
Post any important announcements to the team page, cut and paste from FB page and SCBA Heja
Join the EO chat group
Do a quick weekly update on Saturdays after games with any photos, congratulating the team, thank you to anyone who bought fruit or helped out (optional).

Bring a camp chair, plenty of cold drinks and sunscreen for yourself
Check RSVP’s in Heja and communicate with coaches so they can do a batting order
