History

The Jellies were first formed in the Summer of 2021.

The North Shore Plate League had a surge in registrations and the league expanded to five teams. Amber and Ryan had just finished their first season in the league with the Sharks, before they were offered the opportunity to start a new team.

We kept with the nautical theme, picking the Jellies name.

We had immediate success, winning the plate in our very first season.

<aside> 🔥 We take inspiration from various sources, but a large part of the inspiration for the Jellies came from the Montgomery Biscuits. A Double-A Minor League team, affiliated with the Tampa Bay Rays. Their mascot is a scone, and the exact type of ridiculousness that makes a great mascot.
