Things to add / figure out

Teams

Each team consists of 5 to 6 players.

While only five players take the field at a time, all players are in the hitting line up.

Age

There are no restrictions on the amount of older or younger players in teams.

You can be all young, all old, or a mix of something in between. As you’ll quickly learn, bat speed matters more than strength in wiffle ball, and our youngest players hit dingers just like the old boys. Age is no advantage in this league.

Intellectual property

If you’re spinning up a new team within the SCBA, you’ll likely design new jerseys and logos.

Until your team is large enough to spin off into it’s own club, the SCBA will retain all intellectual property rights for the sale of uniforms and merchandise (a major fundraiser for all community sports). As part of this process, we’ll ask you to complete the below form when registering your team.

Current teams - if your wiffle team is affiliated with a team that already exists within the SCBA (Sharks, Sting Rays, etc.), you won’t need to complete this form.

New players

New players to our league, who are unconnected to any other player or club will be allocated based on skill and individual team needs. Stronger players will be allocated to struggling teams, or teams with low numbers.

There are no drafts, first picks, trades, nothin’!
