For ages 7 through 16, the North Shore Development Leagues provided a tailor made collection of leagues each year based around fun, friendship and skill development.

The North Shore Development Leagues offer a fun way to keep kids fit and healthy. Encouraging an active lifestyle and potential athlete performance pathways by playing baseball on the Sunshine Coast.

Get Your Kids To Unplug and Swing Outside the Zone

With two 10 week seasons on offer each year, commencing in February (Summer) and October (Spring), baseball is a wonderful way for kids to make new friends and build upon current friendships. Kids also learn socially appropriate behavior such as respect, taking turns and following directions. As well as the opportunities for disappointment that all sports bring.

The Mudjimba Diamonds - The Home of Baseball on the Sunshine Coast - and the NSDL volunteer squad provide a safe & caring environment for opportunities to emerge for children (and their families) to learn to support each other and provide a positive environment for the entire team. Did we mention there’s a family discount on offer?*

*family discounts are on a per case basis and subject to SCBA Management Committee approval. 3 or more player member registrations from the same family are typically required.

Our AIS & Baseball USA accredited coaches encourage your child to keep trying and not give up while improving skills to help build their self confidence. Children also learn patience beginning at a young age when playing baseball. Ready for anything both in the field and at the plate, patiently waiting their turn at bat then patiently waiting for the perfect pitch to hit the ball out of the park.
